Stop by and visit us in the Historic Manassas Visitor Center (open 7 days a week, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) and let us assist you in planning your trip. Make sure to include our quaint, history-rich town in your next group tour. We’re a great stopping point from Richmond, or on your way to Washington, D.C. You’ll be able to provide your guests with an authentic small town experience.
Visiting for a day or traveling to other areas, the City of Manassas offers numerous parking options in the Historic Downtown area. The museums, shops and restaurants are all within a short walking distance from public parking. All day parking is available in the parking garage for free after 10 a.m., in any space on any level during the week. The parking garage is free to the public anytime on the weekends.
While street parking is free in Historic Downtown Manassas, all public parking is in timed areas. Please be sure to read the hourly information signs before you park.
Overnight parking permits for Amtrak are available in person at the Visitor Center or can be printed at home using this link. The permit allows parking on the second level of the parking garage in the spaces numbered 1-69. A copy of your boarding pass is also sufficient as a parking permit in the designated Amtrak spaces. Please call 703-361-6599 from 9am-5pm daily with any questions.
Historic Manassas is not affiliated with Amtrak or VRE. We are not ticket agents or customer service agents for either train system, however we will be happy to help you find the correct information.
Commuter parking permits are only available from Manassas City Hall. Call 703-257-8200. Click here to visit the City of Manassas web site. If you need information on VRE, click here.
