All aboard for the 30th Annual Historic Manassas Railway Festival!

The Railway Festival takes place on June 1, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is free to attend, so bring your family and friends. Climb aboard the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) for a scenic journey from Historic Manassas to Clifton and back. Tickets for the excursion trip are available now for the low price of $8 per person (add. $1 fee for credit cards).

You can purchase tickets by clicking here or by visiting the Train Depot located at 9431 West Street, Manassas, Va. Excursion tickets are a popular item so we highly recommend purchasing ahead of time.

The festival will also feature a wide array of vendors, food, train displays, memorabilia, entertainment, raffles, and more! Don't miss this exciting opportunity to experience train travel and celebrate Manassas' railway heritage!

PLEASE NOTE: Riders going on excursion train rides to Clifton must be on the train station side of the tracks, with their tickets, 45 minutes before departure. Train crossings will be blocked for safety.

Train departure times are: 10 a.m. | 11 a.m. | 12 p.m. | 1 p.m.

Not only will we have the scenic excursion train ride at this year's festival, but we'll also have plenty of other forms of fun and entertainment. The award winning Historic Manassas Farmer's Market will also be taking place right down the street while the shops, restaurants, and businesses of Historic Downtown Manassas await you one street over. There's enough to do in Historic Downtown Manassas that you can make a full day of it if you wish.
