When She Had Wings is an imaginative, family-oriented play by Suzan Zeder. It follows B, a 9-year-old girl desperate to remember how to fly before her 10th birthday. During a storm, she discovers a mysterious, bird-like woman in her treehouse who speaks only in squawks, leading B to believe her hero is Amelia Earhart.
