Miss Volunteer Virginia, Kate Clatterbuck, Inspires Volunteerism and Tourism in Historic Manassas

Kate Clatterbuck was enchanted by the beauty, energy, and hospitality of Manassas. "It has been a wonderful experience," she expressed at the end of her visit.

The current Miss Volunteer Virginia, Kate Clatterbuck, stopped in Historic Manassas on May 28, as part of her tour through Virginia, with a dual purpose of promoting volunteer work and boosting tourism.

During her visit to Manassas, Kate strolled through the streets of Historic Downtown, visiting local shops, and experiencing the unique charm and hospitality of the city.

To savor the local cuisine, Kate had lunch at Katerinas Greek Cuisine, one of the many delicious options in Historic Manassas, and she was joined by Mark Olsen, President of Historic Manassas, Inc., and Patrick Small, the City of Manassas Director of Economic Development.

Kate visited the Manassas Welcome Center and shared her time with our volunteers, some of the visitors, and helped promote ticket sales for the 29th Manassas Railroad Festival.
