Loading Events

Several U.S. war veterans will be interviewed by members of the National Court Reporters Association for the Veterans History Project conducted by the Library of Congress The interviews will capture the oral histories of these service veterans about their wartime experiences and be housed for future generations to view at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. The event will take place inside the Freedom Museum in Old Town Manassas. The event will serve as the kick-off for a benefit ride taking place the following day to honor the memory of U.S. Army Sgt. David A. Ruhren who died
when his base dining facility was attacked in Mosul, Iraq. Sgt. Ruhren’s name is on the wall of fallen inside the Freedom Museum along with his story.
