Greater Manassas National Day of Prayer

Live worship and prayer! May 7, 2020, at 7 pm. All are welcome. This is a great time for the whole family to come together with other Christians in our community. The National Day of Prayer is observed annually on the first Thursday in May.  This day of observance, designated by the United States Congress, asks people “to turn to God in prayer and meditation.” The modern law formalizing the annual National Day of Prayer observance was enacted in 1952 and each year since, the President of the United States has signed a proclamation, encouraging all Americans to pray on this day.

Congregations from all around Manassas will come together at Harris Pavillion for a multifaceted expression of the Church in Greater Manassas. Pastors and leaders collaborating across denominational, cultural, and generational diversity to pray for our nation.  We encourage pastors and leaders to contact us to be involved and receive informational materials for your congregation.
