The Manassas Museum is temporarily closed for renovation and is expected to reopen in 2023. Programs and tours are still being offered and historic sites are still open. The region's storied past is preserved through award-winning video, permanent and changing exhibits and special events. Open from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday Sunday and all Federal Holidays except New Year's Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Easter and Thanksgiving. Open 7 days a week in the summer (Memorial Day through Labor Day).
The current 7,000-square-foot building sits on eight acres, opened in 1991, and is handicapped accessible. Permanent and temporary historical exhibits interpret Northern Virginia Piedmont history through artifacts, documents, and images. Two exhibit videos describe settlement of the region and impact of the Civil War on the community.
Museum admittance is free. Bus parking is available.
